• Job Applications & Career Data: Job titles, target companies, salary expectations, interview notes, and application status stages saved in your Kanban dashboard.
• Resumes & Cover Letters: Content, work history, skills, and PDF document drafts created or uploaded to our AI Resume Builder and Cover Letter Generator.
• User Content: Public interview reviews, company ratings, and community feed posts.
2. How We Use Your Data
We process your personal information strictly for the following purposes:
• Providing and maintaining your job application workspace.
• Generating AI resume ATS compatibility scores and role-tailored cover letter drafts via AI language model processors (OpenAI/Gemini API).
• Authenticating secure account access and protecting against unauthorized login attempts.
• Aggregating anonymous analytics via Google Analytics 4 (Google Consent Mode v2) to measure platform health and performance.
3. Third-Party Data Processors & Infrastructure
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties. We share data only with trusted infrastructure subprocessors necessary to deliver our service:
• Database Infrastructure: MongoDB Atlas (encrypted cloud database hosting).
• AI Processing: OpenAI API / Google Gemini API (for generating resume bullet suggestions and cover letters; data is processed in-memory and not used to train public AI models).
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2 (ip-anonymized traffic analytics).
4. Your Rights Under GDPR (EU Data Protection)
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you possess specific legal rights regarding your personal data:
• Right to Rectification (Article 16): You can edit your profile, resumes, and application details at any time.
• Right to Erasure / "Right to be Forgotten" (Article 17): You have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated personal data directly from your Profile Settings.
• Right to Restrict Processing (Article 18): You can opt out of analytics tracking via our Cookie Consent Banner at any time.
5. Cookie Policy & Google Consent Mode v2
We use essential cookies to maintain secure user sessions. For analytics, we implement Google Consent Mode v2. Non-essential tracking cookies are only enabled if you explicitly click 'Accept' on our Cookie Banner. If you decline, Google Analytics operates in cookieless ping mode.
6. Account Erasure & Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you initiate account deletion in Profile Settings, all your user profile records, applications, resumes, cover letters, and posts are permanently purged from our database immediately.
